Optical-grade light sources are uncalibrated, screened and seasoned lamps. Screening and seasoning ensure a reliable and stable light source that exhibits optimum repeatable results over a minimum of 50 hours, with proper handling. The lamp housing consists of a socket with mounting hardware to center the lamp filament at the sphere center with a 0.56 -inch diameter mounting rod with a 1/4-20 thread. Cabling is provided for power connection to the Lamp Power Supplies (LPS). Optical-grade light source replacement lamps are sold in sets of three or individually.
