The USS-800S systems are sensor calibration systems designed to provide stepped luminance output values of 3000, 31000, or 70500 cd/m2 depending on the model, for imaging and non-imaging systems. Centered on an eight inch diameter Labsphere with a highly reflective Spectraflect® coated interior, the 8-inch diameter sphere provides a >98% radiance uniformity. A built-in photopic response photodetector monitors the source luminance. Each system provides (NIST) traceable calibrations.

The USS-800C system provides continuous luminance output variability from zero to 9800, 13500, or 24000 cd/m2 depending on the model. A built-in photopic response photodetector continuously monitors the source luminance. Each system provides (NIST) traceable calibrations.
